DESCRIPTION:
Linear² is a linear chain polyphosphate manufactured to improve resistance to reversion or hydrolytic breakdown. This specialty phosphate is produced with a high P₂O₅ percentage designed to provide an extended stable polyphosphate use life.  Linear² will form soluble, dissociated complexes with metallic ions especially iron, calcium and magnesium, preventing scale formations and "red water" conditions throughout potable water distribution systems. Linear² will suppress both anodic and cathodic electrochemical reactions on the internal pipe surfaces by depositing a non-accumulating protective coating effectively reducing corrosion rates.  The product is specifically produced to be stable under otherwise extreme conditions of temperature, time, and where the requirements of potability must be met.

APPLICATION AND DOSAGE:
Linear² can be applied to the water system by use of a chemical injection pump once liquefied with water.  Linear² goes easily into solution with agitation in concentrations of up to 3 lbs. per gallon of water.  Typical treatment dosages range from .50 mg/L (part per million) to 10.8 mg/L (calculated) for potable water and higher for non-potable applications.
