Potable Water Treatment
DESCRIPTION:
Protect-All WSF-36 & WSF-20 are highly concentrated liquid water treatment formulations used for the inhibition of internal corrosion in distribution systems. Protect-All WSF-36
& WSF-20 contain cleansing agents necessary for the gradual removal of existing scale deposits, along with metal phospatizing ingredients required for the development and maintenance of corrosion protective film formations.
Protect-All WSF-36 & WSF-20 will suppress primarily the anodic electrochemical reaction thereby neutralizing the potential circuit necessary to develop a corrosion cell. Along with inhibiting corrosion, Protect-All WSF-36 &
WSF-20 contain ingredients which will stabilize mineral ions including iron, calcium, and manganese preventing large scale deposits and discolored water.
APPROVALS:
Protect-All Formula's WSF-36 & WSF-20 are officially listed with NSF International (NSF/ANSI) Standard 60 - Drinking Water Additives, with the authorization of the U. S. Environmental
Protection Agency (USEPA).
CHEMICAL PROPERTIES:
APPLICATION AND DOSAGE:
Protect-All WSF-36 & WSF-20 can be applied to the water system directly out of the container and into the water system by use of a chemical injection pump. We do not recommend dilution of either concentration. Typical treatment dosages range from 1.0 mg/l (part per million) to 12.0 mg/l (calculated)
for potable water and higher for non-potable applications. Please refer to our Dosage Calculator
for determining a general dosage recommendation for Protect-All WSF-36 & WSF-20 water treatment.
HANDLING:
Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practices. Refer to Material Safety Data Sheets for handling information.
PACKAGING:
Protect-All WSF-36 & WSF-20 are available in 5 Gal. Pails, 30 Gal. Polyethylene Drums, and 55 Gal. Polyethylene Drums - F.O.B. Clearwater, Florida 33760
