Potable Water Treatment
DESCRIPTION:
Sequest-All
EMC is a blend of medium and short chain phosphates and linear polyphosphate manufactured to maximize the mineral sequestration of iron, manganese, calcium, etc., in potable water and non-potable water systems. Sequest-All EMC will
inactivate minerals at their molecular reactive sites thereby inhibiting the ability of the mineral to precipitate causing mineral scale and "red/black water." Because this formulation is produced utilizing short and medium chain
polyphosphates as well as long chain linear polyphosphates, Sequest-All EMC has more available molecular polyphosphate chains to attach to the unstable reactive sites of minerals providing higher opportunity for sequestration.
Sequest-All EMC will also slowly soften and remove existing mineral scale deposits along with providing a thin protective coating reducing corrosion rates.
PRODUCT APPROVAL/CERTIFICATION:
Sequest-All EMC is officially certified and listed with NSF International (NSF/ANSI) Standard 60 - Drinking
Water Additives for use in potable water systems as endorsed by the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA).
CHEMICAL PROPERTIES:
APPLICATION AND DOSAGE:
Sequest-All EMC can be applied to the water system by use of a chemical injection pump
once liquefied with water. Sequest-All EMC goes easily into solution with agitation in concentrations of up to 3 lbs. per gallon of water. Typical treatment dosages range from .50 mg/l (part per million) to 16.0 mg/l (calculated) for potable water and higher for non-potable applications. Please go to our
